FAQ
Will I feel it while I sleep?
At lower intensity settings, most people report they stop noticing it shortly after falling asleep. Start at the lowest setting and adjust to what's comfortable.
How long until it works?
Some people notice a difference within a week or two. Others take longer, and some don't respond at all. We can't promise a timeline, and anyone who does is guessing.
Does it treat sleep apnea?
No. It isn't intended or cleared for apnea, and it's not a substitute for prescribed therapy. Please read Snoring vs. Sleep Apnea before ordering.
Can I use it with a beard?
Usually. The device sits on the throat rather than the face. If your beard is thick where the patch goes, trimming that spot helps adhesion.
How long do the patches last?
Each patch lasts a number of nights depending on skin type and care. Replace it when the adhesive stops gripping cleanly or the gel looks dried out. A worn patch is the most common reason people think the device has stopped working. Refill packs are available.
Is it safe?
EMS at these levels is widely used, but there are real contraindications — pacemakers and other implanted devices, pregnancy, epilepsy or seizure history, and heart rhythm conditions. The full list is on the How It Works page. Stop use and speak to a clinician if you experience skin irritation, dizziness, or discomfort.
Can my partner and I share one?
The device, yes. The patches, no — those are personal, like a toothbrush.
